Our Community

Four Seasons at South Knolls is a large-scale active adult community located in beautiful Jackson Township, NJ.  Professionally managed by Community Management Corp., the site contains 883 single family homes.

Recreational amenities include a 24,000 square foot clubhouse with a fitness center, aerobics room, indoor pool and spa, card rooms, arts and crafts room, sunroom, billiards room, ballroom and library.  For outdoor enthusiasts, we have 2 tennis courts, driving range, 6 bocce courts, 2 outdoor pools, 2 shuffleboard courts, 2 pickle ball courts, a basketball court, garden plots and putting green.  But it’s not the bucolic setting, manicured lawns or well-appointed homes that make South Knolls the place to be…our secret, quite simply, is our Spirit!

South Knolls homeowners are involved in their community and dedicated to charitable causes. Each October we host an annual Susan G. Komen Walk and are one of the largest sponsors in the active-adult community sponsorship category.  Childhood Cancer Awareness, Parkinson’s Disease, Jackson Township Food Bank and Lyme Disease prevention are just a few of the charities our homeowners  support. The clubhouse is always a bustle of activity and weekend events are a sell-out.  Homeowners enjoy dinners and dancing, comedy shows as well as symphonies, impressionists and magicians…oh, and did I mention dancing?

Ways to Get Involved

We believe that there’s a place for everyone to get involved in our community, whether you’re interested in leading as a board member, helping out on a committee or just getting to know your neighbors. Taking the time to get invested in where you live allows you to put down roots, serve the community and build lasting friendships with people nearby. If you’re not sure where to start, visit our Groups and Clubs page to find activities you can participate in with neighbors who share your interests.

Benefits of Living in a Community

There are several reasons the number of community associations has exploded from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands over the decades. The benefits our homeowners enjoy most are:

  • Maintained Property Values. According to the Community Associations Institute, homes in managed communities are often worth 5 percent more than those in traditional communities.
  • Amenities and Services. Our homeowners receive value in return for their choice to invest in a homeowners association.
  • Sense of Community. Our community is a place to connect in a world that is increasingly disconnected.
